When the visionary William Coaker set out to reform the fishery and the society of Newfoundland, his daughter became a chronicler of their experiences in her scrapbooks and journals. There was a wealth of material to work with: photographs, newspaper clippings, postcards, and more. We re-created the scrapbook format to organize these documents, and made subtle use of shades and tints to convey the utopian look and feel of Croaker's Port Union dream.
