The Newfoundland Marten outdoor display was a pilot project to replace the park’s outdated signs and to set the tone for zone-oriented interpretation. The graphics are presented on materials that resemble natural objects, such as rocks, trees and stumps, but are artificially constructed (no real trees are used or harmed). The panels are styled to resemble their setting and to look natural, while the specific approach and mounting materials of each panel are dictated by its content.
